Simon says is the interactive voice response system used in the ASI2000™ software.

The interactive voice response allows the airline customer the opportunity to phone into the FIDS system and access the Flight Status of their flight. This system utilizes a separate computer or an existing computer on the FIDS network, all that is required is a modem for each line you wish to support.

Currently IVR has the following options:

Search By Flight Number using the key numbers on the phone keypad.

Listen to all available Arrivals Flight Status

Listen to all available Departures Flight Status

    Search by Airlines

    Search by City

Voices can be customized to either Male or Female Speaking

An example of how the interactive voice system is below:
  1. A customer dials into the Airports IVR phone system.
  2. The IVR system receives your call and you are greeted and given a list of options to pick from.
  3. You select the option to search by flight number.
  4. You enter your flight number into the phone keypad and press #.
  5. The IVR system responds with the flight carrier, flight number, departure time, and flight status.
  6. The user hangs up or his the # key to return to the main menu.
  7. This is a simple example and the menu structure may be configured in any way that the airport desires.
